Meet Lorenzo, Publisher Sales Manager Italy

Hi, can you say a few words about you?

I like to define myself as a Digital Humanist (yes, this word exists and comes from the university field). I spent the last five years between France and Italy: I left Pisa, my hometown to join Paris in 2015. Then I made a nice trip Bordeaux-Milan and finally… I came back to my first love: Paris.

Can you tell us about your position at Sublime?

I joined Sublime in 2017 as Publishers Sales Manager Italy. My most important mission is the development of the Italian publishers’ network. As you bet, a good partnership is nothing for the publisher without a correct revenue, so, from the first moment, I spent a lot of my time building a strong relationship with our sales teams and adops teams in order to be aligned with briefs, campaigns and optimizations. Moreover, during the past two years, I enjoyed digging into some more technical matters such as Looker Adoption (internal analytical platform to model and contextual data), Header Bidding, TCF 2.0 and so on. Yes, I have a lot of clients 😉

Your best memory at Sublime?

I have tons of good memories but the most important is the “full” lockdown period: we were all worried for thousands of good reasons but thanks to my colleagues I never felt alone and I was happy to give every day my “good morning” on Slack.

A passion outside of work?

As my two-words definition suggest [Digital Humanist], I like to be updated on the digital landscape and I sometimes code, in order to discover new things about web development and data analysis. For the “Humanistic” part, I enjoy reading, from political Philosophy to History of Science, from Literature to Maths and foreign languages like French (of course), English and Spanish.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career? Why?

I don’t like idols, so I have never had a mentor. However, I am grateful to all the people that help me open my mind to new perspectives, thinking differently and avoiding prejudices and bias.
